But with grammatical ambiguity so you can take it however you want.

It varies, but if you mean recent anglophone research papers, it's partly for the usual academic reasons (that tedious enumeration of responses to obscure quibbles is designed to survive peer review), partly because we're trained to detach argument structure from literary style but not from attempts to seem credible by sounding technical.

It's not an unrecognised problem, just an intractable one: cah.ucf.edu/fpr/article/why-is

If you haven't seen it before, you might find FKiSS (an add-on to the Kisekae Set System) of interest there.

Ever wondered why apps that don't need your location still want permission to get your location? It's likely because the app was built with a "free" toolkit that was made by a company that harvests and sells your location data.

One such company is X-Mode, whose first product was an app that was supposed to stop you from making phone calls while drunk. They pivoted to mass location surveillance, providing developer tools to many app creators, from MP3 converters to the beauty app Perfect365.

An interesting thing about Lexi-Cross is that it not only randomizes different hair styles for the cool robot lady in the intro, but also reads your system's clock to put up an appropriate background.
Honestly I can't remember many DOS games that would have different assets based on user's time of day.

So a quarter of a century too late I find out that the French fps "In Extremis" actually has floor & ceiling textures, as well as text in proper English. Because it turned out what I (& likely most others) were playing was a broken pirate translation.
