@don_atoms @Framasoft Looks like a very valuable effort but can you please at least mention that Mozilla makes half a billion dollars a year from Google and state that you MUST configure it to turn off data gathering as part of the installation process? The xkcd that works to glorify it even further doesn’t really help either.

You're not a big fan of Mozilla I reckon ;) Joke aside, your point stands. Unfortunately, the browser landscape is hyper-dominated by Chrome/Google, and FF seems to currently be the only contender worth mentioning. The fact that they're getting paid 450m$/y by Google, their main rival, is indeed deplorable. So far, it seems they've found no viable alternative to fund dev. We'll mention this on the site.

At least, FF can be "hardened", or you can just go with Librewolf.
