JTW, Cornell '91

With the about to start, I'm pondering the issue of a consistent abbreviation scheme for European clubs. Each league seems to have a set of three-letter abbreviations it likes, but doing it globally is hopeless, right? Of the top of my head is used for both Schlittschuhclub Bern (NL, Switzerland) and Sportclub Bietigheim (DEL2, Germany).
