To clarify, #dexcom is a #cgm (Constant Glucose Monitor) producer which saves people with #diabetes pricking their fingers (usually 3+ times a day). On the very basic app side, it has a limited support of a handful of Samsung phones. If you have any other Android, you're out of luck. OTOH, the community developed replacement app xdrip+ (https://github.com/NightscoutFoundation/xDrip) just works. Calling a better #foss alternative from a "black market" (by side loading an APK) is just ________.
I've planned the next 60 days (ish) of my life using StarDIT.
Here's my self-imposed guidelines for my rest days vs my work days.
For every 10-day week: 4 rest days and 6 work days
No more than 3 work days in a row
No more than 2 rest days in a row
These rules wrap-around between weeks. For example, if a week ends in 3 work days, the next day must be a rest day.
Work days are for handling logistics, keeping on top of current events, working through problems, and helping other people.
Rest days are for self-care, internal processing, planning, listening to music, writing music and journaling if I feel up to it.
The point isn't to do nothing on rest days, but to slow down, avoid computers and screens, and do the things that I don't feel like I have time to do on days where I'm going around and doing stuff.
For anyone curious: day 6 of week 22x is the 226th day of the year. Super simple.
I haven't figured out a better word than "week" to describe a 10-day group, but if anyone has a suggestion, I'm open.
a reminder for no particular reason that suffregerts were far more radical then we are told at school
